Philharmonic

Rehearsals for the Mason Philharmonic are scheduled each Monday evening throughout the school year* from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Mason Middle School band room (235 Temple St.).  This orchestra is open to beginning string, woodwind, brass and percussion players of all ages who have played one or more years.

The Mason Philharmonic is designed for developing performers of all ages to further their playing abilities and to gain experience playing in a group. The Mason Philharmonic has taken on the characteristics of a training group and is much appreciated by students and adults alike. Musicians have the opportunity to play in a full orchestra, learn orchestral key signatures, make new friends and perform in four concerts during the season.

The Mason Orchestral Society also offers a scholarship each year to young musicians and members of the MOS.  The Brian Arnold Scholarship.

If you are interested in joining the Mason Philharmonic, please contact the director, David Schultz.

* The orchestras do not meet on days when Mason Public Schools are closed due to snow or holidays.
